Overview

These hinges enable users to easily position doors, display screens, safety shields, and other mounted components and hold them securely at any desired angle – fully opened, fully closed, or anywhere in between. Torque hinges deliver convenient fingertip control over component positioning, without added hardware costs or installation requirements. Multiple hinge sizes, materials, and torque ranges provide the options to satisfy a wide range of application needs.

Product Features and Benefits

Integral torque design eliminates the need for secondary support components to hold hinged doors, LCD display panels, headrest cushions, and other components in position. This single-component solution speeds installation and reduces hardware and installation costs.

Series 200 and 400 constant-torque hinges come with factory set torques and never require adjusting. Symmetric and asymmetric torque options help achieve the optimal "feel” for each application.

Series 100, 300, and 500 adjustable-torque hinges allow users to set or change their desired torque using a simple screw adjustment. As requirements change, or if a different “feel” is desired, simply turn the screw to accommodate any changes.

• Long-lasting hinges are rated to stay within + 20% of rated torque value for 20,000 cycles
• Hinge resistance ranges up to 4.5 N*m (40 in-lbf)
